Training for the ODH

Since the One Day Hike's inception in 1974, there have been many, many, many folks who have hiked it. There have been countless blisters broken, numerous moments of enlightenment that cotton should never be worn while hiking long distances, and myriads of experiences forged (and of course stories and points of view to accompany them) about the "right" way to do things.

The truth is, there isn't just one way to do anything "right". What works for one person may not be the answer for another - and yet still might be the bees knees to another.

The point here is that over the years, we've gotten a LOT of feedback of what works, what doesn't work so well, and innovations along the way. Please note that this section describes a lot of really good GENERAL practices that have been observed over the years. If you have questions about a technique, products, etc, please ask them on our Facebook page!
