Volunteer With The ODH

The 2012 One Day Hike is scheduled for Saturday, April 28, 2012. A great way to participate in the One Day Hike is to volunteer to support the hike. We are always looking for wonder folks such as yourselves to help throughout the One Day Hike along the trail and at variousto support stations. We couldn't do this event without the help of our wonderful volunteers!

BIKE PATROLERS serve as sweeps and assist hikers as needed. What a great way to have fun, get exercise and help out! We're always looking for bike patrollers!

FIRST AIDERS who hold a minimum current certification in Wilderness First Aidand CPR are needed to provide first aid support to participants and other volunteers throughout the event. Those with higher levels of training are encouraged to volunteer.

We recommend that all volunteers and participants be trained in basic first aid (or Wilderness First Aid), as well as CPR/AED, however do not require it for hike participants. We are proud to partner with The Center for Wilderness Safety, a non-profit organization which is a provider of both American Red Cross CPR/AED and Wilderness First Aid training. Please call (888) 945-3402 or visit their website for more information.
